Madame Obama,
In an old (circa 1996) issue of The New Yorker, you commented that
Barack was considering entering into politics, a comment that seems
strange just a little over a decade later.
But the bigger mystery is this: in the accompanied photograph, what is
the deal with your pants? I see President-elect Obama is wearing
so-called "flood pants", exposing his very suave socks. Meanwhile, you
appear to be wearing leggings... was/is the Obama household very
laissez-faire on the pants policy?
Will such policies on pants continue into the upcoming administration,
or have the pants policies since been modified for the better?
